Wednesday, to honor the 11-year-old boy who was killed by his mother earlier this year, the school hung up a plaque inside the school, wrote poems, wrote notes on helium-filled balloons, and sent the balloons and messages skyward.
It's tradition at the Point Place school to plant flowers or a tree for any student, faculty, or staff member who dies, said Toledo Public Schools spokesman Patty Mazur.

I checked with the Lucas County Coroner's Office today on toxicology results for Andrew and his mother, Kim Hassler. Nothing is back yet. (Worth noting, we are waiting on the same for Lucas Hassen.)
