In less than two weeks, a Toledo woman was charged in Toledo Municipal Court with two unrelated child endangering charges, according to court documents.
Amanda Camargo, 25, 0f 234 Beecher, was first charged with child endangering on Feb. 1. A Toledo police detective reported that Camargo's sons -- a toddler and an infant (exact ages are not listed) -- were inside her residence where she allegedly had heroin and a stolen 9 mm handgun.
Camargo was arraigned for the first charge -- as well as others related to the drugs and gun -- and was released on her own recognizance.
The second incident was reported on Feb. 12. The same police detective reported that Camargo hid heroin in a cookie jar (which also had cookies in it).
Camargo was again arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court for child endangering and drug-related charges and ordered to be held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.

Maybe it was a heroine jar that she was hiding cookies in...
