Man arrested for shooting gun in Point Place

Toledo police say Heugenio Coronel pointed a gun at two men and then fired a single round into the ground in Point Place Wednesday morning.

Coronel, 21, of 739 Yondota, is charged with two counts of felonious assault for shooting the gun just before 3 a.m.

According to a Toledo police report, the victims -- Alexander Boyer, 42, and Rico Dorsey, 26 -- said Coronel was involved in a "scuffle" in a hallway at 2939 N. Summit St., which was, apparently the reason for allegedly shooting.

Coronel, who is also charged with numerous drug offenses and having a gun, is to be arraigned Thursday in Toledo Municipal Court.

THIS WAS NOT IN POINT PLACE !!!!!!! PLEASE DONT CONFUSE THE NORTH END MADNESS WITH POINT PLACE. POINT PLACE DOES NOT EXIST ANYWHERE SOUTH OF THE LIGHTHOUSE ON SUMMIT.

I just got the Toledo police report back from my co-worker. It definitely says 2939 N. Summit St.
