Two of the eight pups have gone to their new homes and applications are pending on several others.
However, don't let that stop you if you are still interested in Fergus, Aiden, Bono, Keegan, Cassidy, or Ciara! You can email Jean Keating at canineadvocate1@yahoo.com for an application.
Liam was the first puppy out the door. The little peanut, as Jean called him, was the runt of the litter but so very sweet! He is now living with Jim and MaryRose Haney and is the apple of their eye. He has a big sister, a Jack Russell Terrier named Molly.
The little guy got his first bath on Saturday. I hope it went pretty well. I've gotta tell you, I don't miss clipping the nails on EIGHT puppies, plus their momma.
Next to get adopted was Beckham, with his striking gray and brown merle spots. He is now in the loving home of Steven and Brandy Campbell and his new name is Titan.
Happily, he has a pal to hang out with, Jack, who is a chow chow.
Nellie is now staying with Lucas County Pit Crew fosters April and Jim Hugg. She has two pug friends to play with. Besides running around with them, she is now getting a LOT more exercise with the Huggs than she was getting in our home, so that's really good!
They are thinking about adopting her if she is a good fit. Fingers (and toes!) crossed because they are a great family.
It's been an exciting week. Aiden got to go on WTOL with Tina Shaerban.
Hopefully the segment will bring in some good applications for the remaining puppies.
