On Monday night, I was invited to a Holiday Open House at the Sylvania Heritage Museum in downtown Sylvania. It was a lovely event and the decorations in the museum were beautiful. It was only my second time in the building, so it was terrific to see what it looks like, all decorated for Christmas.

Being downtown in the early evening also gave me the opportunity to check out some the lights on Main St. A week or so ago, someone sent in an editorial to The Blade about how great the holiday lights downtown look. I couldn't agree more.

When I stepped out of my car across from the store C'est La Vie (which is also beautifully and stylishly decorated), holiday songs were playing in the background. A walk down Main St. after 5 p.m. seems like a perfect evening walk to me! Music + lights = holiday fun!
