Astrological readings with Sylvania's Janet Amid

I'm mostly a skeptic when it comes to things like astrologers, psychics and anything related to either. But when I heard about Sylvania astrologer Janet Amid from a friend, I looked her up and thought it would be neat to hear what she had to say about me.

Ms. Amid is a ninth generation astrologer who has experience in numerology and dream interpretation. She offers personal astrological horoscope readings by appointment, in addition to other readings, like compatibility and friendship horoscopes. She is also a super friendly, warm and welcoming lady. When I first got to her office, I could feel her welcoming energy. She exudes compassion and feelings of warmth and kindness.

After knowing my birth date, as well as the time I was born, this was what she told me at my reading:

Personality:

-She said that as an Aquarius, I'm a good communicator, with a great sense of humor.

-Ms. Amid says she sees me working in a creative field, but she can also see me working as a teacher or some type of instructor years down the road. Oddly enough, she says she sees me working in a job that involves teaching children. She also brought up the fact that I might start consider getting a Master's degree this fall or making steps to further my education.

-She said she sees me living somewhere on the West Coast, or in Chicago, although I won't be rooted in one place for long.

-Once I decide on something, I stick with it, she said, and my opinions on whatever subject is will not be able to be changed. (Being stubborn is nothing new for me).

Relationships:

-For fun, I gave Ms. Amid the birthdate of my most recent ex-boyfriend, just to hear what she might say about his compatibility to my astrological sign. She said he isn't bad, he is just dysfunctional and selfish. But because his star sign is Aries, this means he and I will clash over relating to each other. Overall, she said she doesn't see him as a good match for my astrological sign, because we disagree on several big issues. Ms. Amid said he might try to re-connect around August 7, which is when an astrological planetary movement will occur. 

-She said I have a habit of choosing the wrong men to date. "You go right for the lemon," she said, telling me that out of a lineup of 20 men, I would inevitably always pick the one out of the group who is worst for me/has bad qualities. "And you get very disappointed," Ms. Amid said. (Eh, how many other women can say this? Probably a great deal.)

Health

-"You're very healthy," Ms. Amid said. She told me I should watch my knees and how sugar makes me feel. She also said I can't handle milk products and I don't eat when I'm nervous. (The last sentence is completely accurate.)

My conclusions:

Some of what she said was totally and undeniably accurate. I had to laugh when Ms. Amid said I won't find a lasting relationship with anyone in the Toledo area. Co-workers and I have often joked about just how "un-dateable" the city of Toledo truly is for young professionals. Apparently, astrologically, it will not be a good city for me either.
