It's difficult to eat at restaurants if you have food allergies or if you're trying to eat healthy. But it's even more difficult if you have both of those strikes against you. Organic Bliss, a deli and bakery in Sylvania, might just be the remedy to having dietary restrictions.
On the morning I visited, the staff was friendly and the clerk explained to me the various options and how they have the ability to make baked goods for people with food allergens. They also have gluten-free baked goods and lunch options for those who have to watch for certain ingredients, already available.

I ordered the Super C Fruit Blend smoothie, which is a mixture of orange, strawberry, raspberry, honey and ice, all blended up. Some of the smoothies had yogurt, but as I was trying to assess the options for dairy-free consumers, I opted with a mixture that didn't include it.
Before leaving with just the smoothie, the glass bakery case caught my attention and I knew I wasn't going to leave without trying something behind the counter. Opting to try a vegan strawberry cupcake, the clerk packaged the frosted mini-cake and I was gone.
I'm not ashamed to say I ate the cupcake in my car, within a matter of two minutes. (Umm...I didn't even get a chance to snap a good photo of it. That's how delicious it was.)
If you have food allergies, or even if you don't, check the place out — it's worth a visit.
