TAMPA - A release came this afternoon from the Outback Bowl's media relations folks, and it seems as if the reporters covering Michigan and South Carolina - as well as the local media covering the Outback Bowl - will get their collective wish.
Brady Hoke and Steve Spurrier will speak in a joint news conference Monday morning in Tampa.
Originally, the Michigan coach was scheduled to speak from 9 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. and the Ol' Ball Coach was scheduled to speak from 9:30 to 9:45 a.m. at the Wyndham Westshore Hotel, but instead we'll get to see the sharp contrast of personalities first-hand.
Or will Spurrier somehow bring out something the Michigan media hasn't seen from Hoke? Spurrier is known as a button-pusher ...

A few more thoughts from the Sunshine State ...
Practices for both South Carolina and Michigan were closed to the media today, and Michigan did not have any player or coach availability today. But both teams hit the beach on a 55-degree day, before Monday's walk-throughs at Raymond James Stadium.
ESPN.com reports that Leon McQuay III will announce his college choice Friday at the Under Armour All-America Game in St. Petersburg, Fla. McQuay, a safety from nearby Armwood High School, visited Michigan's practice Thursday at Tampa's Jesuit High School.
"Yeah ... I don't know [if Michigan still in consideration]," McQuay told ESPN. "I don't know how many hats I'll have up there," he said. "My dad said he wasn't paying for five hats. I'll probably only have three hats up there."
Got a chance to see a friend of mine from high school whom I haven't seen in years ... and I braved massive tourist traffic to see her. It was definitely worth it.
