Red Hot Victors

The Michigan-Ohio State rivalry never lets up, not even when it comes to rock and roll.

Last weekend in Columbus, the Red Hot Chili Peppers - led by front man and Michigan native Anthony Kiedis - wrapped up their show at Value City Arena in a certain style. Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, who grew up in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., sang the first words of a song that's familiar to and loathed by Ohio State alumni and fans: "The Victors."
