Not that I'm condoning gambling on college sports in any way, so consider this strictly informational ...
The odds are out - the Golden Nugget sportsbook in "fabulous Las Vegas" (and believe me, it's fabulous) released its early odds for college football betting earlier this week, and has set the odds for some of 2012's more intriguing college football matchups, including Michigan's season opener Sept. 1 against Alabama at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The Golden Nugget has the Wolverines as a 12-point underdog against the Crimson Tide, the defending BCS champions.
Michigan is also:
- a one-point underdog Sept. 22 at Notre Dame,
- a six-point favorite Oct. 20 against Michigan State,
- a two-point favorite Oct. 27 at Nebraska
- and a three-point favorite Nov. 24 at Ohio State.
