The answer to Wednesday's question? The Bowling Green women's basketball team won at Ball State Wednesday night, claiming its 10th consecutive victory. Since the start of the 2005-06 season, how many times have the Falcons won 10 straight games? It was six times before the victory, and it's seven now. To put that streak in perspective, the other 11 Mid-American Conference teams have combined for just three 10-game winning streaks in the same period.

The answer to Monday's question? BG women's basketball standout Alexis Rogers scored 30 points in the Falcons' win over Eastern Michigan Sunday. When was the last time a Bowling Green women's player had at least 30 points in a game? It wasn't that long ago: Lauren Prochaska scored 37 points on Feb. 12 last season against, coincidentally, Eastern Michigan, in the Falcons regular-season victory over the Eagles.

When is the last time that happened? Well, that was a trick question: According to Daley's research, it had never happened before this season.

Senior Scott Thomas nearly posted a triple-double in the men's basketball team's win at Miami Wednesday, finishing with 11 points, 11 rebounds and a school-record eight steals. Who was the last BG men's basketball player to post a triple-double? The answer is Nate Miller, who finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a controversial loss at Buffalo on Feb. 13, 2007.

The answer to Jan. 11 question? What Mid-American Conference men's basketball program has posted the most consecutive victories against the Falcons in games played in Bowling Green? I think people tried to make this question too hard -- or didn't read Jason Knavel's game notes that day. It was Akron, which extended that record to eight straight victories with a one-point win at the Stroh Center that night.

The answer to Tuesday's question? The BG women's basketball team opens Mid-American Conference play Wednesday after going 10-3 in the non-conference schedule. This marks the sixth consecutive season the Falcons have posted double-digit non-conference wins. How many times have the other 11 Mid-American Conference women's basketball teams accomplished that feat? Miami also has 10 non-conference wins this season -- for the first time in school history -- to make the total five: Eastern Michigan has done it twice, and both Kent State and Toledo have done it once.
