BG football recruit 2013 – Mike Rogers

Here's a thumbnail look at one of the high school players who is expected to sign with the Falcons Wednesday, wide receiver Mike Rogers.

HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 6-1, 190

HOMETOWN/HIGH SCHOOL: Fort Wayne, Ind./Bishop Luers.

BY THE NUMBERS: A high school teammates of current Falcon James Knapke, Rogers helped the Knights win four straight Class 2-A Indiana state titles. … As a senior he caught 37 passes for 450 yards and three touchdowns. He was All-Indiana honorable mention and All-Northeast Indiana second team. … As a junior, he caught 48 passes for 1,030 yards and 19 touchdowns (with Knapke throwing him the ball). Rogers was All-Indiana first team. … As a sophomore Rogers caught 15 passes for 429 yards and six touchdowns; as a freshman he caught 22 passes for 362 yards and two scores.
