Bowling Green senior defensive tackle Chris Jones will play in the inaugural Raycom College Football All-Star Classic Saturday.
Jones, a first team All-American by the Football Writers Association of America and the Mid-American Conference defensive player of the year, was added to the rosters for the "Stars" squad of long-time NFL assistant Jim Bates. Bates served as interim coach of the Miami Dolphins in 2004.
They will face the "Stripes" team led by former Broncos, Giants and Falcons coach Dan Reeves.
The game will be played at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Ala., and will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network starting at 3:30 p.m. local time.
