The Falcons held their annual Orange & Brown scrimmage at the Stroh Center Saturday, Oct. 20. I was a few miles away watching football, so I was not able to attend.

Several injured players did not participate in the scrimmage. Here's an update on their injuries and their status as the Falcons prepare for their exhibition game open against Central State at the Stroh Center on Sunday, Nov. 4, starting at 2 p.m.
- James Erger missed the scrimmage because of a sprained ankle, but was back in practice on Monday.
- Chauncey Orr had a hamstring strain that is not expected to be serious. He is expected to return to practice soon, potentially as early as today.
- Desmond Rorie missed the game because of an injured pinky finger. He is not expected to practice this week, but is expected to return to practice next week. Barring an unexpected setback, he should be available for the exhibition game.
- Cameron Black is rehabbing a knee injury. At this point Black does not definitive timeframe for his return from the injury, but it is not considered season-ending. His status for the exhibition game is questionable at this point.
