BG football will open 2018 at Oregon

The University of Oregon announced several additions to its future football schedules, and one of those additions involved the BG football team.

The Ducks announced that they will open the 2018 season with a home game against the Falcons at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon. Presumably this is a one-year, one-way contract between the two schools.

Currently Oregon is 7-0 this season and 4-0 in the Pac 10 conference. The Ducks are ranked second in the Associated Press poll and the USA Today coaches' poll and are fourth in the most-recent BCS standings.

That contest is the first scheduled meeting between the two schools.
