I sent my favorite photographer to take photos of fans at the Falcons' 2012 home opener against Idaho. Check out the photos to see if he caught YOU before the contest ...
Want to meet my photographer? Here he is ...
OK, he didn't get many identifications -- truth be told, he didn't get ANY identifications. If you see someone you know, click on the "comments" link below and identify them!
What I will do on Monday is use any ID's I get to identify people in these photos. Hope everyone enjoys the photos Drew took from Saturday's contest. Here we go ...
Actually there is at least ONE photo where we know the people in the photo. These folks won an award for the longest distance traveled to get to the Doyt for the game. Here they are: the family of David "Chief" Kekuewa ...
I wonder if the translation of the shirt Chief's Dad is wearing is "Roll Along"? Kidding! I was glad to meet them.
Moving right along ...
Next is this group who met on A-Z-Z fanboard, which includes, in the front row, Dana Wherley, Marta Crow and someone whose name we're still working on (sorry!). In the back row it's Mitch Gargac, Matt Van Wormer, Mike Wherley, Mike's oldest son, Josh, Bob Dupont, another name we're working on (it's a husband-and-wife team, if that helps!), and Rick Crow ...
These fans obviously were having fun before the game (looks like we have the parent of a cheerleader here) ...
Another group of happy fans ...
These fans told Drew that they follow Falcon Fodder! Good for them! Glad I can show your faces here ...
Here's another group of excited group of football fans by the grill ...
Gotta tell you: I am TOTALLY digging the fedora in this one ...
Girls from
left are: Madelyn Black, Megan Lare, Madison Etzler, Carly Lichtensteier,
Krysten Williamson, Shelby Walters. Boys from left: Brady Etzler, Alex
Skale, Evan Freer, Tyrell Smith.
See how close the Doyt is? This is obviously a prime spot ...
Why are all these people wearing the same uniform number? We won't be able to tell them apart ...
Well, I guess will can at least remember who No. 89 is, right?
The grill, the shade, the food (look to the right -- that looks like cake!) ... It is ALL good!
Finally, these guys told Drew they knew who the Falcons' opponent was THIS Saturday -- and they were ready to put up their dukes!
From left it's Pence Roth, Allen Heringhaus and Jon Treece.
Remember, if you spot someone you know in these photos -- or if that's YOU in these photos -- makes sure you click on the "comments" button below and identify yourself!

My tailgate group was the first to arrive at The Doyt (8am) so it would have been nice if we would have been pictured here. We love Falcon football and welcome everyone to join us and share some food and drink. ROLL ALONG!
