An analysis of the members of the BG men's basketball team, looking at freshman forward Craig Sealey.
BY THE NUMBERS: Sealey played in 20 of the Falcons’ 30 games, averaging 7.5 minutes per game. He averaged 2.4 points per game, shooting 51.4 percent from the field. He averaged 1.1 rebounds per game and blocked four shots as well as collecting four steals.
WORTH NOTING: Sealey saw action in just one of the Falcons’ first 10 MAC games, but coach Louis Orr said he liked the player Sealey was becoming. Sealey showed a glimpse of his potential at Ohio, when he posted 14 points and four rebounds in 23 minutes – to put those minutes in perspective, he had just 38 minutes in a total of six league contests.
SUMMER TO-DO LIST: Continuing his progress is the key. At 6-6 Sealey can be a better rebounder, and he needs to be a better defender. But in general, all-around development should produce more court time for Sealey next year.
