Did I miss this?
"Hope to have a surprise for you late in the day Sunday, so check in for that."
or was that a 'tease' to get more readers!?

Billy D: I put together a page of stories featuring the other Mid-American Conference schools ... thought it would be interesting to read what was happening around the conference.
There were links to some of the better features around the league, including info on Miami's Nate Winbush being lost for the season, WMU's Steve Hawkins fainting at the end of a game, of a fight during the BSU-OU game, and a bunch more.
Here's a link to the story if you'd like to read it: http://toledoblade.typepad.com/falconfodder/2011/01/mac-reading-room-jan-30.html
Sorry if the "surprise" wasn't enough for you.

BTW, I'm always looking to have more readers! Any suggestions ... things you like to see me add, things I should stop doing, things that would attract readers? Either post 'em as a comment or send me an e-mail at jwagner@theblade.com.

John -
I DID see that, read it and enjoyed it very much. Thanks.
I was hoping you may be announcing a 'Jim Brown' type RB had been signed for the football team!! HA.
Do you attend the Clawson Recruiting presentation in P-Burg?

Nope ... I was the one asking a lot of questions at Clawson's Wednesday press conference.
Did someone go to Perrysburg for Thursday's event? Can I get a scouting report on that?

John,
Thanks for the seeding info. Hopefully the energy in Anderson Arena can work some magic once again on Saturday.

Hey JW
Any plans to do some coverage of the BG Rugby Tourney this weekend in BG? Men's (from FL, NC, Temple and BG) and Women's (Brown, U of M, U of VA, UC-Davis) teams, Fri, Sat and Sun. I believe the BG Mens team is ranked #1 in US.

Billy D. ... sorry, I am on vacation starting Tuesday. Would you please pass along some info to my e-mail address -- jwagner@theblade.com -- so I can pass it along to my bosses? Thanks!
