Long-time BG strength and conditioning coach Aaron Hillman has accepted a position at the University of Michigan, working with the Wolverines' football team.
University sources indicate Kenny Goodrich, the department's assistant strength and conditioning coach, will oversee the department until a replacement is hired.
Hillman spent the past 10 years as the Falcons' strength and conditioning coach. Before that Hillman was an assistant strength coach at Notre Dame (1998-2001), Connecticut (1996-98), Cincinnati (1995-96) and Ball State (1992-96).
Hillman will be the assistant strength coach at Michigan behind Aaron Wellman, new Michigan coach Brady Hoke's strength coach at both San Diego State and Ball State.
Goodrich is in his second season with the Falcons' strength program. Prior to coming to Bowling Green, Goodrich was a graduate assistant strength coach at Michigan State from 2007-09 and a volunteer assistant there from 2005-07.
