After a week of wild speculation — and reports — about its contents, the Zapruder-like Carlos Hyde surveillance video was released by Columbus police today.
Hyde will not face charges in relation to an alleged assault at a downtown Columbus bar earlier this month, but that doesn't mean he's in the clear with OSU. The Buckeyes running back's fate will largely rest on how coach Urban Meyer interprets the video, which is terribly grainy but shows a woman slap at Hyde, and Hyde react.
Too blurry to draw conclusions? Or will it be difficult for Meyer to reconcile a zero-tolerance policy toward violence against women with the contents?
