He played at the turn of the century, and he is Toledo's all-time leader in runs scored. Who is he?
The answer to Monday’s question? The photo on the fifth suite features a player who saw action with Toledo teams in 1894-95 and from 1897-1902. In fact, no other player has played in more games for a Toledo professional team. Who is he? He is Robert “Bob” Gilks, who played in 1,040 games in a career that saw him play for Toledo teams in 1894-95 and 1897-1902.
