In an effort to have a little fun with the Coop Scoop blog, I am producing a (somewhat) daily trivia quiz called "Mud Hen Mindbender." No prize; this is just a way to get your day moving. Ready? Here we go ...
The Tigers just added Jeff Baker to the roster in a trade with the Chicago Cubs. Baker originally was with Colorado before he was traded to Chicago. What player did the Cubs send to Colorado to get Baker?
The answer to Thursday’s question? Phil Nevin is in his second season as Mud Hens manager. How many managers around the International League have been in their current position longer than Nevin? Only four total, including three in their sixth season – Charlie Montoyo of Durham, Dave Brundage of Gwinnett and Dave Miley of Scranton/Wilkes-Barre – and Mike Sarbaugh, who is in his third season in Columbus.
Do you think you know the answer to today’s question? Click on the "comments" link below and give us your answer! I'll post the answer tomorrow along with another trivia question. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Al Alburquerque.

OK, here's a follow-up question: The Tigers traded for Omar Infante, who originally came up through the Tigers system. But Detroit traded Infante away.
To what team did the Tigers trade Infante? And who did they get in return?

They traded him to Atlanta for Zach Miner.

No, Phil, sorry. The trade you are thinking of sent Zach Miner and ... whoa, what am I doing? Can someone fill in the details for Phil?
And we're still looking for an answer to the Infante question above.

Cubs for Jacques Jones.

Didn't the Tigers get Miner and Colon for Wil Ledezma?

Did the Cubs just turn around and trade Infante to the Braves? I don't remember him ever playing for the Cubs.
If Miner was involved in a separate trade with the Braves, it had to be the Kyle Farnsworth trade.

OK, you've got the right answers, but in a bit of a jumble ...
Zach Miner and Roman Colon came to Detroit from Atlanta in trade for Kyle Farnsworth.
Omar Infante did go to the Cubs for Jacque Jones. And Phil, you are right that Infante never played for the Cubs. A month later they traded him to Atlanta.
