In an effort to have a little fun with the Coop Scoop blog, I am producing a (somewhat) daily trivia quiz called "Mud Hen Mindbender." No prize; this is just a way to get your day moving. Ready? Here we go ...
On Tuesday the Tigers announced that Ryan Raburn will begin an injury rehab assignment with the team starting Wednesday. Raburn also played with the Hens in eight games in June. In how many different seasons has Raburn played at least one game for Toledo?
The answer to Monday’s question? With only two weeks left in this season, the Mud Hens have been eliminated from the International League West Division title race and the IL Wild Card race. What was the last season the Mud Hens made the playoffs? The Mud Hens last competed in the Governors’ Cup playoffs after winning the West Division title in 2007.
Do you think you know the answer to today’s question? At the bottom of this page give us your answer in the "Post a comment" box! I'll do my best to answer as quickly as possible, and I’ll post the answer tomorrow along with another trivia question. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I'm going to go with seven seasons (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012).

Phil: You are going with the correct answer.
Here's a follow-up: the best I can find for most seasons with the modern-day (since 1965) Hens is SIX seasons. What two players were with the Hens in six different seasons (besides Raburn, of course)?

Ah, Pepper, I've screwed this question up.
Your answer is correct ... but I didn't ask the question correctly. I was looking for two POSITION players who have spent six different seasons with the Hens.
Any help there?

Well done, Pepper! Correct on both counts.
Comer played for the Hens from 1966-68 and 1971-73, while Hare was a Hen from 1990-94 and 1997.
