In an effort to have a little fun with the Coop Scoop blog, I am producing a (somewhat) daily trivia quiz called "Mud Hen Mindbender." No prize; this is just a way to get your day moving. Ready? Here we go ...
This questions is simple enough: Who leads the Mud Hens in stolen bases this season?
The answer to Thursday’s question? The Mud Hens were shut out by Syracuse 1-0 in the first game of Wednesday’s doubleheader. How many times have the Mud Hens been shut out this season? The hints I gave were that the Hens have played 124 games and are next-to-last in the International League with a .246 team batting average, but the hints were made to mislead you. Toledo has been shut out just THREE times this season, fewer times than ANY IL team. In fact, five IL teams have been shut out 10 times or more, and two others have been shut out nine times -- that's seven out of 14 teams.
Do you think you know the answer to today’s question? At the bottom of this page give us your answer in the "Post a comment" box! I'll do my best to answer as quickly as possible, and I’ll post the answer tomorrow along with another trivia question. Looking forward to hearing from you!

With Berry and Young gone, I'm thinking it is Justin Henry

Ah, Pepper ... I was hoping to trick everyone. But you are correct.
Justin Henry has 20 steals, Quintin Berry 19 and Matt Young 16.
Here's another trick question: Who is next behind that trio?

Argenis Diaz?

That's a good guess, but incorrect. Diaz has eight steals and is tied for sixth on the team.
Any other guesses?

Pedro Ciriaco's brother, Audy?

You got it, Pepper. Nice effort.
I was expecting something to be "tricky" and say Eric Patterson, but Audy currently has 14 and Patterson had 13 before he left.
I'll be back with a new one Monday, I promise.
