In an effort to have a little fun with the Coop Scoop blog, I am producing a (somewhat) daily trivia quiz called "Mud Hen Mindbender." No prize; this is just a way to get your day moving. Ready? Here we go ...
Another question about all-star teams and Mud Hens: Three members of this year’s team have been named to International League's All-Star team while with the Mud Hens in years past. Who are those three players?
The answer to Friday’s question? With Toledo closer Chris Bootcheck elected to the International League All-Star team this year, that means three Hens closers have made the team in the past five seasons. Who are the other two Toledo closers who were voted to the IL All-Star team since 2008? Bonus points if you can name the year. The two relievers are Blaine Neal (2008) and Jay Sborz (2010).
Do you think you know the answer to today’s question? Click on the "comments" link below and give us your answer! I'll post the answer tomorrow along with another trivia question. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I'm going to guess Andy Oliver.

That is not correct, Phil. Oliver has never been an IL All-Star.
Any other guesses?

I got two (by a whisker) - Brent Dlugach, Jeff Frazier

There you go, Pepper. Dlugach made the team in 2009, Frazier in 2010.
And here's a hint on the third: His time with the Mud Hens also was brief ... and he made TWO IL mid-season All-Star teams!

Ryan Raburn?

Atta baby, Phil! Raburn was an IL All-Star in 2006 and 2007, but didn't play in the 2007 game because he got promoted to Detroit.
New question Tuesday!
