Former Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland is traveling around the state with Vice President Joe Biden to Zanesville, Athens, Portsmouth, and Milford (Cincinnati suburb).
Much of the speeches are focused on driving the Democratic message that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan only care about the wealthy.
Strickland said this was what he took from the Republican convention: "The Republican definition of success is just making a lot of money. Our party and president consider success to be the ability of all Americans to share in the prosperity of this great country."Sandra Jones, 65, of Zanesville, left no doubt of whom she supports in the 2012 election.
