A new poll from Rasmussen Reports shows Democratic incumbent Barack Obama with a lead in Ohio over Republican Mitt Romney 47-45 percent in the presidential race.
The of survey of 500 likely voters in Ohio also found 5 percent prefer another candidate and 4 percent are undecided.
The poll was conducted on July 18 and has a sampling error of 4.5 percent, which puts the results well within the margin of error.
And in Ohio’s U.S. Senate race, the poll shows incumbent Sen. Sherrod Brown (D) ahead of challenger Josh Mandel (R) by 46-42 percent.
