Democrats nominate Obama electors

You think you elect the president?

Don't make us laugh. That responsibility falls to the Electoral College. Over the weekend, the Ohio Democratic Party met in convention and nominated their electors to the Electoral College.

Here are the local electors for Barack Obama:

Congressional District 4 - William Young—Sandusky County

Congressional District 5 - Michael Friedman—Lucas County
Congressional District 9 - Wade Kapszukiewicz—Lucas County

If Obama wins Ohio, the electors will meet in Columbus on Monday, December 17, as required by law, to cast their Electoral College ballots to re-elect the President and Vice President, according to the Ohio Democratic Party.
