The weekend of Sept. 29-30 has the Ohio State Parks hosting a number of fall-focused events.

Caesar Creek in southwest Ohio hosts a Civil War Encampment beginning at 10 a.m. each day at the Pioneer Village. Historic re-enactors demonstrate the life of soldiers, including skirmishes. Special activities for kids. Information is available at 513-897-1120.
A Halloween Bash is planned for Mosquito Lake in northeast Ohio for Sept. 28-29. There will be trick-or-treating, movies, games, bike and stroller parade, campsite and costume decorating contests and a potluck dinner. Information is available at 330-637-2856.
