The threat of rain has led officials at Maumee and Perrysburg schools to postpone Saturday’s fishing tournament between the two rivals until May 5. With the postponement, the deadline for entering the tournament has been extended. All teams must be registered at one of the participating high schools by the end of the school day on Thursday. Students, staff and friends from Maumee and Perrysburg are eligible to participate in the tournament, which will be headquartered at the Rotary Pavilion at Side Cut Park on West River Road. The tournament will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 5 and is open to an unlimited number of two-person teams. Details and information are available at the Perrysburg schools website.
